Film Fatale will be setting the scene by creating a 1960s apartment in The Sugar Club — a perfect chill-out room where you can step away from the busy dance floor and sit back with a cocktail.
One of Hollywood’s greats, director Billy Wilder brings 1960s Manhattan to life in a 10-time Oscar nominated comedy drama that sparkles with charm, snappy dialogue and heartfelt humour.
C. C. Baxter (the always hilarious Jack Lemmon) is an office clerk working in a busy Manhattan skyscraper. Finding it hard to get ahead in business, he put himself in his bosses’ favour by lending out his apartment for their extra-curricular affairs. Among these is his callous boss J.D. Sheldrake, whose wooing of Miss Kubelik (the quick-witted Shirley MacLaine), the fetching elevator operator who Baxter is pining over.
